I cc'd DBox Z ep 86 to show what my CC looks like on a full episode. It's based on the most well-preserved original broadcast videos I have, but of course I was only using them to infer and not replicate, since they've obviously suffered colour alterations of their own. My usual preference for DBZ colour correction is to try and achieve cel-like aesthetic. I don't give a fuck about "how they saw it on TV"; I care about what looks best and to me the cel-looking/modern-looking aesthetic that Q-Tec went for (albeit inconsistently) is much more pleasing. But of course, it's impractical to attempt such CC with DBox hence why I don't bother doing full eps with that method. Instead, for DBox, it's very easy for me to pull off the original broadcast colours, and I have a formula which has worked for 209/209 episodes in a row. No one else can CC on this level, not even Kei17 lol. Or rather I should say no one's figured out the formula like I have. Note that I'm calling it a formula and not a preset. Anyway, I also used one type of the "better" broadcast audio sets in this episode, but ofc I compressed that shit to like 60kbps lmao. I don't wanna give you guys good shit but I at least want you to hear it without that dynamic buzzing every time characters open their mouth :) Also, my internet sucks so I won't be able to seed for long. So you guys gotta keep seeding or someone DL it and upload to MEGA and drop a link in the comments.
