So what exactly is the "cake" we are expecting to see in this show? For me it is to see the MC eventually grow enough to get his revenge and not be this loser-guy with a shield. If someone tells me that this show will be boring or depressing till the end, I'm gonna drop it like a hot potato.

@Nyann Yeah, I was getting Re:Zero vibes too from this. Definitely enjoying this anime. @Username048726 I like Slime but it just seems to be about people going up to challenge him and him collecting them like they're pokemon. That's character?

@qtpi It's more than that. It's city building. Which by itself is interesting. It's not a typical "MMO isekai" like this shit is, it's more Classic JRPG isekai, so it has charisma. Sorry you're too young to have played anything that Slime is based on and all you have to go on is crappy MMO Kirito clones.
