File list

Is this better than what was already uploaded: https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1212681?
@Shaun, it depends if the previous one is on ver 1.03 like this one, if it was, then this was a pointless upload.
Yeah the one I linked does indeed come with v1.03 but I don't know about it coming with any DLCs as I haven't noticed any unlocking and it checks for DLCs every time you run it. Not seeing any folder about DLCs (after installing it) from the one I linked. Then again this version is a setup.exe version instead of an ISO version.
@Shaun Then this could be better or that the previous one is, indeed lazily labeled.
This is actually way better because the DLCs actually work in this release while they do not in the one I linked.
Seeing these posts reminded me of downloading the OST in FLAC, but ffshrine is dead now. Must be somewhere else now.
Thanks to whoever uploaded this! I’m curious if this came from a downlaod version of the game from a website like steam, and which website it comes from, or if this was extracted from the disc. Also I wonder what that 1.2GB difference in size is from between the ISO and this download.
@mrbean This is the Steam version (with the crack by CODEX already in the installer) and it's smaller in size because it's compressed a little better I think, installed size is 33.5GB. Like I already mentioned above this is better than the ISO torrent because the DLCs actually work here. Uploader should mention in the description that this is the Steam version by CODEX.
Japanese Text Working?
@Shaun, thank you for the information. At least the info is in the comments. Also from the DLC info from the webpage I link to below, it mentions that DLC's will be tied to an account or console. I don't know if the crack could or does fix that. So I'm guessing these DLC's may only ever work with this download, and a different torrent for the game for a future version higher than 1.03 may not be able to use these DLC's if that version of the game was downloaded from another persons account and if the crack doesn't take care of that. Also that webpage says the physical disc may possibly get DLC's in a different way with a code. I had to look up what DLC's were exactly since I had to stop playing games 18 years ago because they were too addictive and took up too much of my time. I found a webpage with a good description at https://www.lifewire.com/what-is-dlc-in-gaming-how-does-it-work-4707377 and on that webpage it states the following possibilities of what DLC's generally contain. I was hoping someone would make a full list of everything that is contained in the DLC's included with this torrent so I can backup that information with the game. I won't be able to play this any time soon. Here is the general list from that webpage. Types of DLC that games offer include: -New features, like extra characters, levels, and challenges -Items that help you progress through the game, such as weapons and power-ups -Cosmetic extras, such as character outfits and weapon skins -Loot crates containing a random assortment of in-game perks -Season passes that grant early access to upcoming DLC
@mrbean You can find what DLCs it has here https://store.steampowered.com/app/851850/DRAGON_BALL_Z_KAKAROT/ it doesn't have that many.
@Shaun. When I played a bit, game shows with mix of purple color. What would cause this and how can I fix it? (opening show in proper color) Thank you
@ice_creamz No idea what would cause that, it plays perfectly without me having to do anything special, I run it in 1080P with all graphics settings maxed, it sounds like a graphics card and or driver issue to me though I'm not sure, you should make sure you have the required system specs to play it: MINIMUM: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit Processor: Intel Core i5-2400 or AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Memory: 4 GB RAM Graphics: GeForce GTX 750 Ti or Radeon HD 7950 DirectX: Version 11 Storage: 36 GB available space RECOMMENDED: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS: Windows 10 64-bit Processor: Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: GeForce GTX 960 or Radeon R9 280X DirectX: Version 11 Storage: 40 GB available space This info can be found on the Steam page for the game.
@Shaun, thank you for the link. I should have thought about checking steam.
I did some research on the game versions & the DLC’s. There is no physical disc version of the game for PC which I noticed and have proof of its non-existence from the link I give below. So that other torrent is just an ISO made by the Codex team from the digital download & the crack. The ISO is available from their webpage. Also there are 3 digital PC versions which I notice from the steam webpage. I had to find the info on what the differences are on another website. The following webpage describes the different editions and has the most complete info, and is how I now know for sure there is no physical disc PC version https://support.bandainamcoent.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038524092-Dragon-Ball-Z-Kakarot-What-are-the-different-editions-and-what-do-they-each-come-with-Xbox-One-PS4-Steam- Below is the info from the above webpage. Another version isn’t mentioned, which is the pre-order version that is not listed on this webpage and comes with a different combination of DLC’s which can be seen at the following webpage which has a more detailed look at all Editions https://www.thegamer.com/dragon-ball-z-kakarot-differences-between-collector-deluxe-ultimate-editions/ The question is, which digital version of the game is this torrent? Not the Standard. So are the DLC’s from the Pre-Order, Deluxe, or Ultimate Edition. If Ultimate Edition, then maybe the uploader of this torrent will upload the other 2 DLC’s when they come out during Spring 2020. Can anyone Identify which Edition the DLC’s in this torrent are from? Physical (Xbox One & PS4 only): Standard Edition: Just the regular game Collector’s Edition: The regular game, diorama figure, art book, and steel book. The season pass will need to be purchased separately Digital: Standard Edition: Just the regular game Deluxe Edition: The regular game, Well-Aged Steak DLC, and the season pass Ultimate Edition: The regular game, season pass, Dragon Palace Bowl DLC, Music Compilation Pack, and Tao Pai Pai Pillar. The last two will be available in Spring 2020
I made a bit of a mistake above which I should correct. The pre-order pack is purchased separately and is not one of the Editions. It has 3 items that are not included in either the Deluxe or Ulitmate Editions. The Season Pass comes with both the Deluxe and Ulitmate Editions, but can also be purchased separately. So this torrent may be one of the following -Standard Edition, with the Pre-Order Pack and/or Season Pass added. -Deluxe Edition, with or without the Pre-Order Pack -Ulitmate Edition, with or without the Pre-Order Pack Here is a picture of what is included in the Pre-Order Pack https://cdn-cms.bnea.io/sites/default/files/inline-images/196385149712625.jpg Here is a picture of what is included in the Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steam/apps/851850/ss_99df46ea315597e06b62dfe15107db7b7c8ed1cb.1920x1080.jpg?t=1579881684 The Pre-Order Pack has 3 Unique items which makes it easy to detect if that DLC pack is included in this torrent. But the only way to tell if it is the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition (since 2 DLC’s for the Ultimate Edition will only be released in the Spring) is to see which food items are available. Although one of the links in my previous post includes a DLC for the Ultimate Edition called "Dragon Palace Bowl DLC" that is not in the above link to the picture of the 3 editions from Steam. Since it only says the last 2 DLC's will only be out in the Spring, then this DLC should be available now. Pre-Order = Cooking Item Deluxe Edition = Deluxe Cooking Item Ultimate Edition = Ultimate Cooking Item I won’t be playing the game for quite a while, so I would appreciate if anyone can confirm what is included for me. Maybe other people will appreciate reading the answer in these comments.
The steam_emu.ini file lists the available DLCs which are: 1144640=DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT Pre-Order DLC Pack 1144641=DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT Aged Wild Steak 1144642=DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT Dragon Palace Bowl 1144644=DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT Steaming-Hot Grilled Fish 1144646=DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT Season Pass There's no way to find this out in-game once the game already tells you it found them nor in the game files.
I love this game, preordered the ultimate on steam, keep coming back to play even after beating. The pre-order dlc you can do without, unlocking a dojo training early is nice but not needed, and the food items I don't think i ever even used. Looking forward to the season pass and music pack to come out
Shaun, thanks for checking that ini file! I’ve been so busy I forgot to check back here for an answer to my inquiry. I really appreciate that since I can’t install the game to check any of that for a long time. Interestingly the only DLC’s you didn’t list are the 2 that are comming out in the spring, and absolutely every DLC from every edition which is currently available is included. I assume that the DLC wouldn’t be listed in the ini file unless it was available in the game, but it is strange that both the food item from the Deluxe Edition and the food item from the Ultimate Edition are listed in the ini file. I don’t think that it is possible to actually purchase both of those editions of the game to be able to use both of those food items at the same time. If that is the case, then I guess the crack took care of activating all DLC’s for all Editions. I wonder if all editions are the same size file and the steam key just acivates certain DLC’s. The following webpage says that there is a way to disable or enable the DLC in the ini file: https://steamcommunity.com/app/347830/discussions/0/541907867788621197/ So if you find DLCEnabled= in the ini file, then after the equal sign there should be a 0 or a 1 for each DLC which will just be a string of numbers all together such as 11111, 1 meaning the DLC is active, and 0 meaning inactive. I wonder if they are all set to 1, and if the game gives 5 DLC unlocked notifications ??? I’m guessing there isn’t a problem with having both food items active in the game, but if for some reason it causes an issue or bug, setting the 1 to a 0 for the Deluxe Edition food item (which is the Aged Wild Steak) will change the game to a pure Ultimate Edition with pre-order pack added. Apparantly the ini file doesn’t say which 1 or 0 is for which DLC. But I would think that the order of DLC’s that Shaun found listed in the ini file would be the same order of the 1’s and/or 0’s after the equal sign in DLCEnabled=
You really shouldn't assume the food items are active like that, that isn't how food items work in this game, you have to eat them for the effects to work (you only get one of each food item listed) and they only last so long, DLCs do not cause issues or bugs, you clearly don't know what you're talking about and I didn't include the text before the listing of the DLCs, you either enable all or none you can't choose which ones to have enabled or disabled. The ini file I listed those from has to do with the crack, there is no ini file in this torrent to control the DLCs it is done with the crack ini file, that Steam link is for Fairy Fencer F which has absolutely nothing to do with Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, quit assuming that will work the same in other games when it doesn't.
Wow Shaun, even though I was mistaken about the ini file in every game being able to activate and deactivate every DLC separately and didn’t know that the crack changed that as well, I don’t understand how you misunderstood what I was saying about deactivating the DLC for the food item, and your words were a bit rude. I also mentioned more than once that I cannot install this game which tells everyone that I am only assuming, so there is no need to tell me to quit assuming or that I clearly don’t know what I am talking about. The purpose of my comment was to verify what is actually in the ini file, and hopefully to be helpful. I posted the link to what made me assume the ini file would work the same so people can determine things for themselves and correct me where I am wrong. So thank you for your correction on the INI file. All of your help throughout these comments has been much appreciated. Although your comment on having to eat the food item is a bit rediculous. Why would anyone think you don’t have to play the game and eat the food item. When I said activate or deactivate, I was simply saying whether the food item will be available in the game. You did list the food items as if they were separate DLC’s. I gave no indication of thinking what you implied. I wasn’t trying to say that DLC’s cause issues or bugs. I even said I doubt there would be any sort of bug. I should have been more clear, but I was talking about 2 food items that I believe were never meant to both be activated as items in the game at the same time since I don’t think there is a way to purchase a combination of the Ultimate and Deluxe editions to have both food items available. So who knows how it is programmed. It was a “just in case” type of thought in case anyone experiences conflicts between both food items. I imagine one or both food items not having the effect they should when they are eaten if they are both available in the game at the same time. Maybe I should have just asked if anyone experienced any issues like that.
Each of the 3 food items have different effects and can be eaten at the same time without any issues and even if they had similar effects that wouldn't matter because the one with the stronger effect would overwrite the weaker one. You can also have multiple effects from eating cooked food like EXP increase etc. Food in this game isn't just used for limited status effects (like increasing EXP gain) they also permanently add stats to the characters that eat it and you can even eat the materials used for cooking by themselves to get permanent stats like HP etc.
