Reinforce has better colour??? any screenshot comparisons???

This was the only one I uploaded when I was doing comparisons. All the other tests I did turned out the same.

I just did the same thing as you a few days back though I replaced the 1st season with VCB-Studio’s since they had it in HEVC and the details wasn’t lost much so considering the disk space I kept the HEVC one.

@Tanteiouji man they sure look the same http://compare.bakashots.me/compare.php?setId=4327 however ReinForce has like ~1% better detail retention. However size difference between the two is lol. But I guess in the end I still chose the better one just not in the size department.

@ACCM lol I do the same for animes which I really like; still I don’t prefer keeping videos with qualities which are good enough with minor loss in details so I’m always short of space so I try to compromise when there’s no major difference in quality but the size diff is too big. For this one I had the ReinForce ver in the beginning later I replaced it with the VCB-Studio ver.

Can you please elaborate on how exactly you took these screenshots (and what video player you’re using)? Just compared it myself with the original source files and they are identical in terms of colour (nothing like your screenshots)

@------ I used ffmpeg to convert the frames into png. I also used mpv in the beginning before and it turned out pretty much the same way.
