Horriblesubs (Funimation-rip) subtitles, re-timed to fit on these AT-X raws by Moe-Raws (direct download link), since the AT-X version doesn’t have the annoying steam censorship. The nipples are still censored, but that probably won’t change even in the BluRay release.

We can only hope. To me, it looks like a conscious design choice, especially when you compare it to the low-effort steam censorship on the non-AT-X version. Still, only time will tell.

^Dont forget that DxD put just as much effort, if not more given it was an animated thing, and it was obviously still uncensored on the BDs
Difference was I guess that it aired on a channel uncensored regardless

Just going by the subtitles from the scene at the park concert in ep1 where an audience member comments that the girl.s nipples were “glowing” I would say that the star effects are meant for comedy purposes and will probably be there on all versions .

@lord_ne I only saw a little bit of DxD first season. but I remember it having 3 levels of censorship. The logo thing your talking about was used on the most censored version of them all. It was the non-ATX broadcast. The ATX broadcast did have some censorship too in some scenes using those famous beams of light. The BD version was totally uncensored I believe. I would have liked to keep the non-ATX broadcast in my collection but I couldn’t find it anywhere.
