People think All I do is encode with Handbrake, yes I do but no one cares. I encode BD that is easy and that does not need a lot of work. (I mean video)
I'm sorry for that shit encode of '[Bleach TV](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1082413)' I had a Laptop 768p screen so I could not see the errors in the video, [BD Banding](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/707534555795685416/713939598694154370/bd_banding.PNG) vs. [DVD Banding](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/707534555795685416/713939681925922866/DVD_Banding.PNG) both are bad so I have dropped the series.
Any of the DVD encodes and 1080i BD encodes that are done by 'Koten Gars' is not encoded by me (Well there was '[Trigun](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1072286)' & '[Bleach OVA](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1077430)').
I will be encoding '[Witch Hunter Robin](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1233694)' without Handbrake just to prove I can encode with filters.

You do know that mini encoding isn't the same thing as re-encoding, right? Mini encodes are specifically those which are lower bitrate in order to save space, but encoding a web dl does not automatically make it a mini encode.

Yes, taking an encoded source and re-encoding it is mini encoding, but an encode from an untouched source (web-dl or bluray remux) is not always a mini encode.

I suggest you take a look at how much work fansubbers put into encoding blurays. It's not easy at all, and if you think encoding blurays is easy, it means you're not actually spotting and fixing all the errors.

But many times fansubbers encode a web-dl to better manage problems present on the web-dl (banding, aliasing, wrong colours(fixing chroma) etc.)
and even splicing in some scenes from another source which handles it better (or to remove hardsubbed typeset).
^this, properly filtered webdl looks better than untouched ones, especially considering the fuckery CR does with their stuff. And the arguement that web sources are encoded isn't going to work because blurays aren't lossless, they're encoded too. Depending on who encoded the blurays and a number of factors, we can have cases when web sources actually look as good as or even better than the blurays (eg. Fire Force wakanim rips).

At first I though you're taking about bleach, but bleach never got JPBDs so ill assume you're making a general statement about JPBDs.
If you're trying to say that JPBDs have no banding and only US ones have banding, sorry to say it, but you're wrong. JPBDs are generally better quality than USBD, but they aren't immune to artifacts.
I'm pretty sure that [this](https://files.catbox.moe/fzex5w.png) isn't how the studio animated it. If you've been encoding JPBDs with the assumption that they are prefect to source and don't need any fixing, you were wrong.

Taken a couple of perfectly fine encodes, blurred the shit out of them, introduced a ton of banding, and converted the 128kbps audio in a format that was designed with full-range use in mind to a fucking codec designed specifically for VOIP with a negligible drop in bitrate. Even by your own standards, based on all the shit you talk here and on reddit, your encodes are shit. So you contribute nothing of any value (unless you consider harassment valuable). Kimiko and koten_gars have contributed much and have many fans. But they're not big into cartoon porn so you're probably not very familiar. Bunch of fucking autistic children here. Jesus. I hope you're at least able to make yourself feel better by always putting others down. You clearly have some void in your life you are trying to fill. But you know what they say... The context here is that you said "Japanese BDs have no Banding Errors like US BDs", which isn't true. This is a JPBD, and it does have banding. Any thoughts on that?

If you're talking about noragami and my earlier BD encodes, you might have missed the conversation when the guy posting screencomps was caught faking screenshots. He was taking screenshots with his own filters applied which made the video look worse than it actually was and then posting it here. This was noticed after his latest one appeared to be warpsharped, but if you've seen my earlier ""hate comments"", you know how much I hate warpsharping. Thats when everyone realised he's faking the screenshots.

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about here. My encodes were PCM audio to Opus, not AAC to Opus. You think PCM audio is 128kbps? Anyway, Opus is more efficient for everything compared to AAC, you might want to read up on that
