*appreciation I must thank you for this. *grateful The light novel will always have a place in my heart.
Oh yeah, thanks bro
*wondering if there is some sort of contest going among the uploaders to see who can upload the most insanely overinflated files for an anime series*
**@komugi** : Go and first understand what 'Remux' means.
@Archer0034 ... what is your point ? ... on other sites like yts, it is what is called a "BD", BRrip" and other similar nicknames that mean the file was ripped from a bluray disc and on all of those sites, you do not see outrageously overinflated file sizes ... average file sizes for a 75-90 minute full length movie, at 1080p are in the range of 1.25-1.75 GB NOT over 4GB for a normally 25-27 minute long episode of anime
this is BDRemux ie files haven't been encoded from blu-ray, they have been what you can say as copied-untouched from blu-ray https://nyaa.iss.one/?f=0&c=0_0&q=bdremux BD, BDRip ie end files are the result of being encoded from blu-ray, since they have been encoded and not just copied filesizes are lower
Didn't take long for the _"ThiS iS tOo BiG/bLoAt"_ gang to show up. @komugi These are _untouched_ m2ts files which where turned into mkv files. That's what a Remux is. This isn't an encode. There's a difference.
@komugi these are preferred over BR rips usually because we can encode to our own format or settings if we want and control the quality a lot better, or just leave them as is for the original experience without any loss of quality as if we were actually watching it from the disc.
ROFL ... yeah it looks like I ran afoul of the totally faithful "slob on the nob of anyone who uploads anything" church ... I soooooooooo completely did NOT fall down on my knees in total supplication so that I could slob on the knob, and swallow LOL ... I do have to wonder what excuses all of you will use to justify it, when file sizes get up about 1TB for a single ep of an anime series ... when for almost all of you, whatever you are watching the anime ep on, has a screen resolution and audio reproduction capability that is no where near high enough to actually display the "real quality" those OMG soooooooooooooooooo awesome file sizes are supposed to provide ... LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
and i have to wonder how stupid can one possibly be? personally i don't often have any use of bdremuxes because transparent encodes exist that I'm satisfied with. i don't have audio equipment that would make full use of all those multi channels but i do have space and bandwidth to take these offers. if im disappointed that releases meeting my needs are not available, it doesn't mean that i go and express my disappointment in releases that clearly were not meant for me. the english bd audio has just become available. give it time.
@komugi Did you actually read the responses or did you just decide to make yourself look like a idiot?
End it already. Stop arguing with the idiot!
@sameer The english BD audio is in these files though right? I may sound dumb btw but I just wanted to be sure. I have HIDIVE where they upload an episode per week and the blu ray for all 24 episodes has already been released but I think this batch has all 24 episodes in english dialogue also.
i hope some 1 encodes this to x265, my tiny hdd doesn't have much space ;(
> i hope some 1 encodes this to x265, my tiny hdd doesn’t have much space ;( Edge already has an x265 mini encode out, but it's single audio (no english). If you just need the Japanese one you can grab that.
What I'm wondering about is, I just recently saw episode 3 being released in Dual Audio. Why, and how, is the entire season here in dual audio? Oo
Magic :) Thank you
komugi-please go fuck yourself in the butt hole. If you're so ignorant that you don't know what a remux is then shut the fuck up. Some of us LIKE untouched bluray m2ts files. Dumbass shit head.
any words on a 1080p dual audio version for poor ppl ? i thought it's 11GB, and had to cancel it at 38GB xD
I'm new to this. Can I ask why the files are so big? Please don't use technical terms
hi, file size is big because there is close to non, or very little video compression applied (smart algorithms that decide which pixels should be omitted in order to save file size), in real world scenerio it's hard to distinguish quality between raw and properly compressed files (it's noticeable only if scene is full of noise and movement which anime is being pretty sparse in this area however it can happen from time to time) therefore it's great to have close to original quality for archival or new encode purposes (you don't want to apply compression over compression, although Blu-ray is already compressed but it's closest to original quality that normal consumer can lay his hands on). In short you won't miss out much unless it's really bad encode... usually 1GB-1,5GB per 20min episode in 1080p HEVC/x265 is all you need. Normal RAW quality is around 1GB PER MINUTE! so this is nothing in comparison.
