English: Steins;Gate
Japanese: STEINS;GATE
The self-proclaimed mad scientist Rintarou Okabe rents out a room in a rickety old building in Akihabara, where he indulges himself in his hobby of inventing prospective “future gadgets” with fellow lab members: Mayuri Shiina, his air-headed childhood friend, and Hashida Itaru, a perverted hacker nicknamed “Daru.” The three pass the time by tinkering with their most promising contraption yet, a machine dubbed the “Phone Microwave,” which performs the strange function of morphing bananas into piles of green gel.
Though miraculous in itself, the phenomenon doesn’t provide anything concrete in Okabe’s search for a scientific breakthrough; that is, until the lab members are spurred into action by a string of mysterious happenings before stumbling upon an unexpected success—the Phone Microwave can send emails to the past, altering the flow of history.
Adapted from the critically acclaimed visual novel by 5pb. and Nitroplus, Steins;Gate takes Okabe through the depths of scientific theory and practicality. Forced across the diverging threads of past and present, Okabe must shoulder the burdens that come with holding the key to the realm of time.

Episode 23β/Beta is listed as “Steins;Gate Zero - 00” because it honestly makes no sense to start the series without first watching it.

Thanks. Will one day roll, your version of Ikkitousen ?!
AOmundson (uploader)
@SasukeUC Maybe. I tend to make encodes of series I watch along with or am at least interested in seeing, so I’ll likely encode it if I ever get around to watching the show.

Could someone please confirm the titles for the Specials in this release?
I’m trying to name/sort everything correctly onto my Plex server (it is running ASS/HAMA for Anime Metadata) and want to avoid spoilers by watching them incorrectly.
For Example, for Steins;Gate it just says “S1”,“S2”,“S3”,"S4"
What do these belong to?
I’m extra confused as AniDB only shows 3 Specials, and on of them is the 23(β) Episode that is included in this release as Steins;Gate Zero E00 instead, so what are these 4 Specials?
Thanks for the assist, and thanks @AOmundson for the high quality releases!

What subs did you use? There’s nothing in the media info

The Steins;Gate IBM specials are missing subs.

Also worth noting that season 1 seems to be using Steins;Subs while the OVA is Commie. Doesn’t include all the deanzel sub tracks such as Commie (BSEnc & deanzel modified) & Steins;Subs (deanzel modified). The encode used here also has some pretty terrible banding compared to deanzel and some odd discoloration / encoding artifacts in some dark scene comparisons, although deanzel’s suffers from smudging / detail loss. Might be worth re-encoding from the dynit release.

May be worth adding a new sub track with the “fixed” subtitles too.

I doubt this comment will be useful to many people, but I noticed that the audio is not that great, especially on the 4 special episodes.
The thing is that after a lot of testing and search, I concluded that it probably was sold as it is because the problem persisted on other encoder team.
I even tried to test it on other pair of headphones in fear that my babies would be damaged, but with no success.
After that I even tested, if the problem was maybe coming from my DAC/AMP and plugged my headphones directly into my computer, but that wasn’t it either.
So TLDR, if you noticed some static noises, save yourself the hassle, it will probably be the same even if you bought the BD in the first place.
@AOmundson Hope you don’t see this as a complaint and many thanks for this AIO release. For keeping everything consistent, it’s very appreciated.
Other than the audio issue and maybe some light de-banding that could have been used, this release is near perfect and certainly one of the best out there. ^^
