Greetings everyone! I hope you are all having safe and happy holidays.
This is the Kanketsuban of Pollyanna. For those who don't know what that means don't feel bad, I didn't even know they existed 6 months ago! But anyways Kanketsubans are two episode summery specials of the various World Masterpiece Theater Anime. Barbarically Nippon animation took the series and spliced em up to make these short 45 minute versions, together they run 90 minutes, so it's practically a movie cut.
I know we haven't posted anything on our two big projects recently, the reason being we've been going back through and fixing any mistakes we can find. I've also had to re-encode a few episodes. Between the two we're dealing with 97 episodes, takes a bit. On top of that I've also began encode work on our next big project.
We're hoping to have both projects out sometime after the first of the year. No ETA, but probably mid to late January. Till then this will have to tide you over.

Why exactly they decided to make these TV Specials, I don't really know. Why they're so obscure that no rips existed online of any of them, I don't know either. In any case though, we're happy to present to you the first of hopefully many Kanketsu Bans, for the first time online and for the first time in English.
For those wondering, the subtitles are based on the revised, batch version (hopefully out soon) of our already released Pollyanna stuff, so Licca TLC'd and edited by me. The new narration was translated by me and/or adapted from similar lines in the original - many of the narration segments are approximately carried over, but sometimes in different spots or shortened. There is no original dialogue, it's literally just segments of the TV show cut together serially. They do feature original intro narrations and episode previews though, including for the next Special in the series, just like the TV shows did.
Also, the Pollyanna Kanketsu Ban covers only the first half of the series, quite unlike most (if not all, haven't exactly checked all 26) other Kanketsu Bans, which makes for a much more natural story flow. It's still massively cut up of course, and only about half of those 27 episodes even appear in this, but it's more watchable than some of the others that are still in the works.
