Filtered to get rid of rainbowing. Deblocking. Chroma reconstruction. Subtitles are dubhater's. Japanese and English audio. Comparison screenshots: https://slow.pics/c/pchlcly4 This release is encoded from the actual R2J DVD. As a bonus it has the highest bitrate audio of any official (DVD) release. [jackoneill] used the single-disc release with six-channel audio from rutracker, which is a re-encode of R2J. All other releases I could find were encoded from the old R1, and didn't filter rainbowing. For those interested: Old R1 has random chroma ghosting on the top half of frames. New "Anime Classics" R1 doesn't have this issue. Otherwise the same master, but levels are different. Dynit was the only distributor to attempt to reduce rainbowing. By doing so they fucked up all lineart and "dark" detail. ~~I am looking for the French DVD (Kaze), and the Japanese Blu-ray that came out in November 2022 (GNXA-1713).~~

Thanks, the previous old rips were bad. @pip3 Is that blu-ray upscale?
I assume so because we had a complete set of all the armitage ovas released in germany in 2018. i think if they had hd masters they would also have released a bd but what do i know
I have the BD if you want the lossless audio.
I love when people do this work on old titles. Thank you very much. Gotta rewatch this.

@DamianV8501 That'd be great, can you rip the BDMV (and CDs that are apparently bundled)?
If you want the entire BDMV, that would be too large for me to share. Video quality is quite bad since its a filtered upscale. 36GB of trash video quality. I feel like I could do Dual Matrix remux since it's only 17GB that I could fit on my Mega drive. That's an upscale too but being made digital, it doesn't seem to be affected too badly. I've actually been working on the first OVA episode and audio does need to be slightly re-cut. Besides the gaps at start and end, at just before 28:33 there's a slightly longer gap in the audio. I'm assuming it's because the two parts are either separate master or separate A and B sides of the Laserdisc. Also the audio barely exceeds the fidelity of that Dolby Digital track however it still does by a slight margin so might as well get my money's worth out of that horrendous BD release. I could do CDs too but they're just re-releases of OVA 1 and Poly Matrix I believe.

Can you not make a torrent and share it with the world on Nyaa? Add me on Discord [here](https://gist.githubusercontent.com/po5/b814d6dac6a7c70edde381431b122f8d/raw/80b2e14b9bfd78135f13608a5e0911fce29a5cfb/discord.txt), I'll give you access to my gdrive or something. Regarding the audio I've noticed this when syncing dubs, and have fixed it for a few already.
I was between doing chores earlier but it was a 921 sample cut for the BD audio difference. I've tried with something before and my client had errors with large file size. Until just the other day, I had to run my internet through my smartphone. Anyways I'll have to catch up with you later on that since I'm back to work tonight plus I work overnight shift. If I can't get on the morning afterwards, I should be able to the day after. And thanks for your amazing work on this series giving it the proper treatment it deserves. I've been thinking quite a bit about Armitage III lately about how great it is.
