The story talks about a love developed between Kinoshita Kazuya and Mizuhara Chizuru. Kinoshita Kazuya is an indecisive and unpopular college student who ends up renting Mizuhara Chizuru for a reason. Chizuru is also a college student and is working as a rental girlfriend, a job that allows her to earn money by being someone's date for a period of time.
