DDL: https://mega.nz/folder/CRJHDSpI#z102OFDrpxC19mJcYTf8_w *May 3, 2023 - welcome back insani(?)* this might be the only nyaa upload i make of this, unless insani is truly back in full-force and they start releasing a lot of projects. most of the updates i do to this are small changes here and there. if you want the most up to date version check the mega link this is a semi-messy collection of fan-translated visual novels and some patches, primarily from the long-disbanded(but-now-back-as-of-2023?) group insani. it contains every game from the al|together translation festivals (2005, 2006, 2008), as well as some of their other projects. there are some Mac and Linux installers missing, since they couldn't be located. if they are found, they will be added to the collection. if you have any suggestions, feel free to leave a comment --- **IMPORTANT:** the following games REQUIRE ffdshow + your system locale/a locale emulator set to Japanese for their installers to run: - Haru no Ashioto - Kujira Conservative - I/O there are a few other installers that complain about your locale not being set to JP, but they will still run, such as Soremata --- shortly after the initial i/o english patch was released, the VN was updated in such a way that broke the english patch. however, a patch made by Kaisernet in 2006 fixes it, which can be found here: https://kaisernet.org/games/ioceupdate.htm alternatively, the patch is available in the "patches_bugfixes" folder, in case the above link goes down at any point. --- in addition, the website above also contains some helpful information regarding getting the games running on Linux, Mac OS and BSD. specifically, here: https://kaisernet.org/onscripter/ Linux users will want the newest ONScripter build to be able to run NScripter games natively via their executables. so far it seems only "Shooting Star Hill" and "Night of Forget-Me-Nots" are able to be run natively this way (thanks to New Leaf Journal for testing this) https://github.com/Galladite27/ONScripter-en https://github.com/insani-org/onscripter-insani --- lastly, "Midsummer Haze" requires you to have the "manakage101.exe" setup file in the same folder as the english setup exe, since the installer will otherwise attempt to contact a dead server to obtain the original game files. the JP setup file is in this archive.
