Monogatari series is inconsistent with every metadata agent except for TheTVDB with DVD episode ordering. [If using with Plex, please set the show to TheTVDB (DVD) episode ordering.](https://i.imgur.com/nEJZcmC.png) I chose this over the default airing order because many episodes are listed as specials when they aren't. DVD order also has the entire series with all episodes being assigned to seasons. However that is only for media server support so that every episode shows up, and does not indicate that you should necessarily watch by that order.

I never said it's season 1, I even specifically said that the naming is for media server compatibility, and the watch order list linked (from /r/araragi) lists it under the first season of the novels, aka what you believe is God's intended way. What are you even trying to say?
When I said S1 I referred to the accepted naming of the "seasons" that the LNs go by which was mostly just me shitposting. However changing the naming of the series itself purely for media server compatibility is stupid. For those who don't use a media server they also won't know which part of the show it should be since its not in the filename. Along with that there is literally a part of the show called monogatari second season. so, are you gonna call that monogatari - S05xx when you get there to comply with TVDB DVD naming? The only good way to name the series as a whole is what motbob did. Following your logic, you'd be naming monogatari second season as S05xx. You also didn't put Nisemonogatari anywhere in the filename itself, so people only have the folder to go off of as well. And listing a "S02" for a part of the series listed as only having 1 season also adds to the confusion.
I have some that are partly v2ed or done and not released. I'll consider putting effort in once I finish the domeday ripper project. I need more unreleased work to fill the gap
