If you have TKU caps, they are likely the same, so check them for drops before reaching out to me. I will NOT be uploading any more TS until someone steps up to share. No give, no get. About this torrent: This torrent includes encodes from my BS Fuji TS caps for the entire Marine Ford arc of One Piece, including the buildup to Marine Ford: episodes 453-516. Episode 453 marks the first 29.97fps episode, and the openings also became 29.97fps at episode 459. While admittedly being biased, I believe these encodes are significantly higher quality than any WebDL currently available. I used the slow preset of x265 and encoded these in 10bit. BS Fuji aired all of these episodes in 1920x1080i. They are, in my humble yet biased opinion, the best overall quality that exists for these episodes. I optimized the encoding scripts by custom deinterlacing for optimal smoothness for 29.97fps scrolling scenes, including a flag to force the deinterlacer in top field first (which for some reason TFM was arbitrarily ignoring, causing scrolling to randomly jerk on some frames). Leaving these episodes interlaced posed some issues randomly throughout the episodes, so the only proper way to handle these encodes is through a custom deinterlacing script. Episode title cards are free from jitter through a special technique I discovered by the time I got to episode 477, so I had to re-encode episodes 453-476 to fix them. Any episode that was reencoded is marked as a rev. After over 5 weeks of continuous encoding, the first part of this project is finally complete. Part 2 including the entire Season 15: Fishman Island arc is on the way... Every episode is 24:00 long to the second. Included in each episode: - Opening theme - Sponsor card (sponsors and voices removed) - A-part - Commercial eye catch A - Sponsor card (sponsors and voices removed) - Commercial eye catch B - B-Part - Preview - CX original promo (included in a separate folder)* - See you next time card *CX promo is only relevant to episodes 477-480, 483, 489-491, 495, 498-500, 505-507, 509-510, 513. If you were wondering why some episodes are shorter than others, the exclusion of these promos is the reason why. If you want to match these up with subtitles, you will need to do two time shifts of roughly 300 frames for both sponsor cards (301/302 frames for the first sponsor card and 298/299 frames for the second sponsor card – these frame counts differ for each episode, but it’s usually 302 and 298 frames respectively). Episode 492 was encoded with a variable frame rate (VFR) flagging 29.97fps sections appropriately for optimal smooth playback. The majority of the episode is 23.976fps - I went frame by frame to verify this. This is by far the best quality version available of this first Toriko x One Piece collaboration special. WebDLs only provided 29.97fps for the Toriko part, and 23.976fps for the One Piece part. These are both wrong, and are fixed in this release. Special Notes: CX original promos have no correlation to the actual episode. They were part of the original CX broadcast, and the actual episode previews were shortened to account for this, so there is merit in documenting the full episodes. These were merged in from my CX TS caps and included in a separate folder. If you just care for the episodes, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE “with_CX_promos” folder. BS Fuji TS also had some trouble episodes. I fixed them by overlaying or merging content from the CX original broadcast. The episodes are as follows: BS Fuji green ribbon on preview: 472, 482, 494, 498, 514 Episode 500 lost around 5 seconds total from packet drops that I replaced from the CX original broadcast TS. It is fixed, and unless you look for remnants of the logo on fast scenes, entirely unnoticeable. Other alterations made to the video: Episode 492, the first Toriko Collab, was a 5-hour coding (not encoding) project to frame match overlays from the Crunchy Roll source to remove the CX clock and other overlays for part 1, and part 2 I used a TS from FujiNEXT to overlay text portions of the CX original broadcast. Furthermore, there were only two parts of the entire episode that were 29.97fps: The collaboration title in the opening theme and the going to commercial eye catch. Strangely, in all other episodes the going to commercial eyecatch is in 23.976fps, but only episode 492 is in 29.97fps. Downsides of this collection of episodes: There are two parts of each episode that remain in 23.976fps: - The repeating introduction right after the opening theme - The commercial eye catches Aside from episode 492, I did not do the other episodes in VFR. In hindsight, I wish I had taken the extra time to create timecodes and provide everything in VFR. Once you see the smoothness of properly flagged 23.976 and 29.97 fps video, it’s hard to go back to the 1-frame dupe jerky playback of undecimated 29.97 video. Hindsight is 20/20... This was a huge project, but it’s not over. I am currently working on BS Fuji encodes for 517-578. HOWEVER… Until someone steps up to share the TS files I am missing between 879-960, this fate is uncertain. I want to live in a world where the best available One Piece episode quality for 207-578 is available to the public… And not just resting on my personal hard drives. You can make a difference!
