Anyone else having this problem?
It finishes downloading, then suddenly certain files vanish and I have to start it downloading again; moving it to another hard drive didn't solve this, so it's not a hard drive failure on my end.
I just copied the directory tree immediately upon it completing, and four files no longer existed by the time the Windows copy function got to them; they were there when it began the process, so they were in it's list of files to copy.
I recorded which files they were, and will attempt to grab just them when they get downloaded this time around.
Actually, I hope no one else is experiencing this, and it's something cr*ppy going on with my system...
I'll run a couple of disk integrity utilities to see if anything weird is going on.
After moving to a 3rd hard drive, the nonsense finally stopped.
So I suspect there's something bad happening with stuff internal to my PC.
The interesting thing was that it was always the same six files in total that were disappearing; the first two went away so fast that they were already back to .!qb before the Windows copy utility indexed the files to copy... the copies of the files made prior to their reverting played just fine, so it wasn't a problem with the files themselves.
Spinrite 6.0 did experience an unusual fatal error while working on analyzing my OS drive... so I've ordered some replacement hard drives to be on the safe side.
